Children in the Photograph

We were sent a group of photos by a relative, asking if we recognized any of the people. They didn't resemble anyone we knew but I thought these children were so sweet they should come back to life. The composition was fascinating, the little mischievious faces so called to be painted that I have started hanging out with them in my studio. Some days are more successful that others but it is a fun project and I am planning to revive others from old beautiful photographs.
