Child at the Beach

After a long hiatus from painting pictures and far too much time painting walls in our new home, this was my first attempt at a large picture. I was pretty disappointed in the water, the shoreline and the child so I took it off the stretcher bars and turned the canvas over. Not often do I throw in the towel as I usually find a part of the painting that I like well enough to learn something from. Lesson on this one was, stick to art, not walls! hahaha!
